I scream...U scream...We all scream for Ice cream.
I have an unhealthy obsession with ice cream. Who wouldn’t love ice
cream? My favourite dessert is nothing fancier or more sophisticated
than a simple Ice-cream Sundae. Nothing satisfies my sweet palate more
than vanilla ice-cream with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, crushed
nuts, caramelised banana, wafer biscuit and the cherry on top!
Ice cream is the only way out from Sydney’s warm and crazy weather. The warmer months are around the corner down here in Sydney and I've got ice-cream on the brain! Having said that you might not always want ice cream. so a great alternative is frozen yogurt. I usually go to Yogurberry in Epping, whenever I feel like having yogurt.
The thing I love the most about Yogurberry is that you pay by weight instead of by size. That means that I can get a large serving if I want, or a small one. Also, I can get as many toppings as I want without worrying about a giant surcharge per topping.
Mmm so good.

A Chocoholic's Dream
I LOVE chocolate and let’s face it, who doesn’t!!!
I have been to many a chocolate café but the
most recent was the Guylian Belgian chocolate café on the rocks. Just around
the corner from the beautiful views of circular quay it’s the best place to
stop and get your chocolate fix. The café hosts a range of delectable desserts
guaranteed to make your taste buds drool just by looking at them.
We went on a clear
day for brunch and I had the pleasure of enjoying a ‘bombe au chocolat’ with a ‘dark
chocolate milkshake’ …mmmmm… if the view wasn’t worth it, this definitely was.

| Bombe au chocolat |
The multitude of textures in this French dessert
will leave you wanting more.
Me and my friend both got the dark
chocolate milkshake and she commented “It’s tastes like real chocolate. not just the
chocolate flavor” I don’t think I could have put it better myself.
If it were up to me that would have been be the start of
me sampling every type of dessert they had but the prices do the Sydney City
justice, so I highly recommend this café if you ever want to treat yourself or
someone special ;D

Design Layout
Our group came up with the topic of Food and Culture due to our group being multicultural and culturally diverse. Food is a universal thing, and everyone can relate to it regardless of one’s background and being such a culturally diverse group, food is a way to unite and bring people together. With food being such a large part of our lives, our group came to a unanimous decision to blog about it. Our design layout came about from focusing on posting and strives to be user friendly with its simple layout. By having a blog archive it gives the user a pleasing yet simple experience of navigating the website. Much of our blog focuses on the actual posts with the intention of not only educating others but also other group members.
